I cannot even begin to describe the joy.

Little Brother seating himself at the table upon hearing the doorbell: cake time!
Freshly baked cupcakes with beautiful marzipan roses.
Kenji effortlessly serving one Nespresso after another.
Snazzy Hape bamboo cars for the boys.
Holding a newborn baby in my arms and inhaling the sweet baby smell.
Big Brother planting his softest kisses on the baby's head.
A bouquet of lush white roses.
Little Brother devouring the all you can eat cake buffet.
Trying on new clothes with the dearest provisional shopping assistant.
The assistant picking up the bill.
Back to the student years with beers at three o'clock in town.
A full mailbox ánd a package from the UK with an amazing White Stuff top.
Carefree smiles filling the living room in abundance.
And hugs, such strong hugs, injecting me with new energy.

Yesterday's all surrounding joy was phenomenal. The ultimate rest-break from cancer.
